What is my hurry?
i love breakfast but usually skip it becauseI like to get on in to work, or I buy something bad for me on the way to office because it is quick...
I like sandwiches w/o crust, but I rarely take the time to cut the crust off...
I enjoy journaling, but often slip into email stuff b4 I journal...
I usually leave concerts/ballgames early to beat the traffic out...
I never stay an extra day on vacation and instead usually leave early...
I consistently drive 5-10 miles over the speed limit...
I rush to next task on list w/o any (or not much) celebration or thankfulness of what God has done and what was accomplished...
What is my Hurry?? Why all the rush??
Isn't life flying by fast enough?
I was just thinking that my yogurt parfait is much more important in the morning than skipping off to work without it. Thankfully, though, I have a banana and green tea -- ooh, and raisins -- to snack on.
I did slow it down this week: except today, I sort of drove an average of 68mph than my usual 65-66.

greetings from the U.K. now that we get around town with nothing but our two legs and public transportation, i find myself not rushing about anymore--who would've thought our lifestyles would be less hurried after moving to a big city like London--truth is it's made of little 'villages' and most of our friends from school/church also live in this little community--so we often stop and chat with people while going from point A to B. this evening, my 2nd grade boy's classmate got onto the same bus we were on, so i ended up inviting their family over for supper! miss y'all, siNing & jack

You are absolutely right! Sometimes it is almost painful to think about how much we miss out on when we rush though all that God has blessed us with. Not to over spiritualize, but we are a blessed people!
